About the Role:
Itty Bitty Adventures LLC is looking for a passionate and nurturing 3K Lead Teacher to join our growing team in Brooklyn, NY! This is an exciting opportunity to shape the early learning experiences of our youngest learners in a fun, adventure-inspired environment where creativity and curiosity are celebrated every day.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate, play-based curriculum for 3K students aligned with NYS early childhood learning standards
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and development
- Monitor and document student progress, development milestones, and behavioral observations
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student growth, daily activities, and classroom updates
- Collaborate with assistant teachers and support staff to maintain a structured and nurturing daily routine
- Facilitate social-emotional learning and conflict resolution among young learners
- Maintain classroom materials, supplies, and a clean, organized learning space
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- New York State teaching certification in Early Childhood Education (Birth–Grade 2) a plus
- Prior experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children in a lead teacher capacity
- Strong knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for 3K learners
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with children and families
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for early childhood education
- Must meet NYC DOE and ACS background check and clearance requirements

Compensation: $56,070.00 - $68,670.00 per year
